California Bun is the most creative, delicious place. There are so many flavorful options that I wish I could have gotten everyone. The taste and texture were a true delight. I also love their side and drink options. There is truly something for everyone here. Highly highly recommend!
Ordered the 6 pack since we wanted to try a few different options. My favorites were the BBQ with Seoul and Southern BBQ. My wife's favorite was the Down Home. The kids liked the Eatzza Pizza. Mac Daddy was a bit of a disappointment, and the Ducle wax ok. The breading on the buns was on point and reminds me of the Chinese BBQ pork buns. We also ordered the 7 word latte, which hit the spot and got the kids a strawberry lemonade, which they were nice enough to spit in 2 cups for them to share. The place is spacious and decorated very well. The service was great and friendly. Definitely recommended to give it a try. Will be back when in the area to try the other buns.
Food tasted great, all the non-chinese options are delicious, the one with a bit of jalapeno has a good kick to it but it's not overbearing, the owner was very kind men's new her inventory well. She has a couple options, you can have your buns warmed up before heading out, make sure to eat them within 30 minutes. Or leave them unwarned and take them home. Also had a citrus and pomegranate drink very tasty.
Best customer service every time, large space, clean. Order cheese egg bun, flavor was OK, bread was a little too soft for my liking. Coffee was satisfaction for price. I hope they have just bagel options in the future.
I love new place! This place opened less than a month ago. Unique concept of Bun! My husband and I loved owners inspiration how they put idea together to open this unique bun restaurant. We had three different buns to try half of each. Definitely taste of fresh dough made at shop. Baked well! Nice combination of filling. It was easy breakfast. Not breakfast sandwiches all inside bun! Easy to grab and eat as warm. Coffee : Local roasting coffee. I like personally like light dripped coffee so it was my type of coffee brewing. Nice owner couple. Big open space inside. Impressed ❤️ To go bag was used thick paper to hold good compared to normal thin paper. It’s maybe just paper quality but I like how to choose for difference to make it better for customers!
One word: Delicious! You gotta try the Eatzza Pizza and the Chorizo and Egg buns. They’re so good! Melt in your mouth. The customer service is the best I’ve seen around. Their atmosphere is clean and cool. Very fun spot to meet up with friends and fam. Try their fresh squeezed orange juice too. So good. And the Raspberry coffee drink was amazing. Support local California business. They’re owned and operated by a husband and wife. Definitely gotta give them a try!
I had first tried California Bun when they opened and I loved it! Ever since then we have been coming back as often as we can every weekend! A favorite of mine is the Seven Word coffee, It’s delicious!
We just LOVE when we get to treat ourselves to California Bun! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is tidy and inviting. And our kids just love the wall of buns to choose from! We even had to stop by their booth at the Apricot Festival to fill up on some buns because they're so tasty! Their community involvement is impressive and the owners are so kind and hospitable. We will be back (a bunch)!
Yum!! Wow this place is amazing. My favorite is chorizo and egg but my kids love the Mac n cheese one, hubby loves the BBQ and pizza. Even the Arnold Palmer is delicious! Run don’t walk, gem of a place!
